Step 3: Finding what to test

Where the tester checklist lives and how to send your feedback.

Updated Aug 19, 2026

Part 3 of 4

As a tester, you have a ready-made checklist of things to try — and a
simple form to tell us how it went. Here's where to find it.

Opening the tester checklist

  1. Make sure you're signed in.
  2. Click your profile (your name or picture, usually in the top-right
corner), or open your profile page.
  3. Open Tester — this takes you to your
    tester checklist.

What you'll see

The checklist is grouped into areas of the app (reading, writing, your
account, and so on). Each item has:

  • A short title and description of what to try.
  • Platform checkboxes — tick the ones you tested on (Web, Android,
    iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows).
  • A feedback box — write what worked, what didn't, or anything that
    felt confusing.

Sending feedback

  1. Pick an item and try it in the app.
  2. Tick the platform(s) you used.
  3. Type a sentence or two in the feedback box — even "this worked
    perfectly" is useful.
  4. Click Submit. A green check mark shows the item is done. You can
come back and update it any time.

There's no wrong answer here — every note helps us make OutaStory better.
