Step 2: Creating an account

Don't have an email and password for OutaStory yet? You can make an
account in about a minute.

Step by step

1. Open OutaStory and click Sign in, then choose Sign up — or go
   straight to the sign-up page.
2. You can register in two ways:
   • With your email — enter an email address and choose a password.
   • With Google or another provider — click the matching button and
     follow the prompts. There's no separate password to remember.
3. If we send you a confirmation email, click the link inside it to
   confirm your address.
4. The first time you sign in, fill in your display name and
   date of birth, then click Save. Your display name is what
   other readers see.

That's it — you now have an account and you're signed in.

Good to know

• Your email is only used for signing in and important notices. It is
  never shown to other users.
• You can change your display name and other details later from your
  profile.
