Celine Dubois writes romantic fantasy set in elaborately realised secondary worlds that owe as much to medieval Occitan poetry as to modern romance conventions. Her love stories are entangled with political intrigue, forbidden magic, and the particular anguish of wanting something your world has decided you cannot have. Based in Montpellier, she has published four novels in French and is serialising her fifth on OutaStory in English for the first time.
