About this Story
Der Erzähler besucht als Schüler das Dorf Löwenbruch und erinnert an das Schlachtfeld von Groß-Beeren, wo vor zwanzig Jahren preußische Truppen gekämpft hatten. Aus Eindrücken, Erzählungen und einer Erinnerung seiner Mutter schreibt er den ersten Aufsatz.
