A story-first reader
Stories are organised into chapters and pages so the reading rhythm
matches a physical book. Your progress is saved automatically; close
the tab and you'll resume on the same page next time you sign in.
Optional AI narration
Authors can have a story narrated chapter by chapter with synthetic
voices, and many do — but it is the author's choice, so not every story
has audio. See the audio narration section for
how it works.
A mix of community and curated voices
Anyone can publish, but the home page features a curated catalogue of
flagship long stories so a first-time visitor always finds something
polished to start with.
