Some stories on OutaStory are marked as AI-generated. If you'd rather
not see them, you can hide them across the whole app with a single
switch.
Turning the filter on
Open Profile → AI content at /profile/ai-content
— there's also a quick button for it in the top bar — and turn on
Hide AI-generated content. The setting is off by default and is
saved to your account, so it follows you across your devices.
Where it applies
When the filter is on, AI-marked stories are consistently left out of:
- your home page rows,
- recommendations,
- author pages,
- the Story of the Day,
- your continue-reading list, and
- search results.
Turn the switch back off and those stories reappear everywhere.
What it is — and isn't
This is a personal viewing preference. It only changes what you
see; it doesn't unpublish anything or hide it from other readers. It's a
separate thing from OutaStory's publishing rules on how much AI a story
may use — those apply to everyone regardless of this toggle.
