What makes OutaStory a good partner?

We are not a publishing house, but a digital platform. At OutaStory, anyone can publish a story digitally. We don't select, curate, or edit. That's your job. You have to select and edit, and that means sometimes having to say "no" to a submitted manuscript. This leads to disappointment and frustration for authors. Unfortunately, but necessary for the profitability of your business.

We would like to become your partner, for example, in the further development of stories that have been successful on the platform, but also as an additional service for authors to be available digitally (even for stories already published as books). Or, indeed, for the publication of stories that you have to reject. You can at least partially spare your authors frustration and disappointment.

All authors retain full rights to their stories at OutaStory. We do not compete with you in this way. However, we plan to offer successful authors the opportunity for joint exploitation of their rights, e.g., as a game, screenplay, etc. As our partner, you would automatically be included and would be our first choice for publishing a story as a book.

Because we're digital, we learn a lot about the stories, the characters, and how they're received by readers. This is an opportunity to experiment, for example, in other genres or with a different approach to the readers.

Benefits of the community

We want to build a large community where stories receive direct feedback. This will allow us to learn what resonates with readers and which writers are successful with them. This will give us valuable insights into what works. This knowledge could also bring you even more expertise as a publisher.

We would love to embark on a new chapter of great stories together with you.
